Weekly Lore 1 - Intro

Dear Readers,

My names is Douglas Stoutforge. Yes I'm a Dwarf, before your wandering mind starts asking too many questions. No, I don't share the unrefined diction of my people. I'm the Reporter for the High Court of Nylevran, and a Historian on the side. I've reviewed countless court cases and have gathered a wealth of associated knowledge. That's not where my interest in history begins or ends though.

I can feel a cloud glowing over the land. Things are growing dire and I believe the need to compile our history is of the utmost importance. One thousand years ago, our civilization was nearly wiped out by a Death God. If people could learn from the mistakes of the past, we'd perhaps have overcome it sooner.

All that said, I will begin to compile my wealth of knowledge here. I'd consider myself well traveled and well learned. My studies at Valkraag's College of Magic served me quite well. We'll start on a weekly basis, but perhaps at some point we can expand to a daily basis. You never know. Keep your eyes open for now, for the wind of change is in the air, and it is a very foul smell.
